This state-of-the-art 2023 ThoroughTec purpose-built drill rig simulator is specifically designed to provide both skilled and unskilled drillers with a fully immersive hands-on experience when it comes to training and improving an operator’s knowledge base using the latest technology available. The simulator is programmed for training on the Epiroc T45 series top hammer drill rigs and the Epiroc D65 down-hole hammer drill rigs.
The system is designed to monitor the equipment operator’s performance and the lowest behavioural level. The AI engine then employs machine learning to automatically inform targeted, simulator-based training interventions and thereby drive continuous, broad-based improvement across an operator’s workforce.
