We have added two new crosses to the website and restocked. These are both really exciting crosses. Ctt. Night Sky 'Shepherd's Warning' and Rth. Maree's Russet both have fantastic depth of colour that is impossible to capture in a photo. I can't wait to see the colour of the next generation. Cattleya Elusive Heartbeat 'Zelda' x Ctt. Secret Love has great potential as a mini Cattleya with excellent shape to the flowers and some real show bench potential. Orchids Out West kicks off at 9am tomorrow. Friday, Saturday and Sunday - three days of orchid magnificence. They have breath taking displays and lots of quality vendors with a huge range orchids for sale. Come out to the Hawkesbury Showgrounds. You won't be disappointed!

Orchids Out West is on this weekend at the Hawkesbury Showground. It's finally your turn Sydney! NSW is putting on the sunshine and blue skies for us this year. We have more orchids than ever in the van. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Looking forward to catching up with our Sydney friends soon!

The vendors are all set up for the Bundaberg Orchid Show. It's at a new venue this year with lots of parking. The judges are currently judging, so I can't show you the show benches yet, but they are adorned with splendid orchids. The show is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so come along and check it out, bring your mum and buy her an orchid for mothers day. All the details are in the first picture.

All set up and ready to go at the Brisbane Orchid Show on Saturday. It's one day only so come along tomorrow, check out the beautiful and spectacular orchids on display, say g'day and pick up some great orchids from the vendors and sales to take home. See you there!

We have added to our already huge range of Dendrobium speciosum seedlings on our website. Check out the world's biggest range of speciosum seedlings! https://www.kingfisherorchidnursery.com.au/search?q=%22dendrobium+speciosum%22
These are all well established in 80mm pots. Dendrobium speciosum can be found in the wild from north Queensland down to the Victorian border. It is one of the toughest species to grow and rewards the patient grower with magnificent displays of white, cream or yellow flowers, depending on the variety. We have details of the parentage in all our listings, as well of photos of the plants for sale.

We have plants at another great orchid show this weekend at the Redcliffe Showgrounds. There are lots of plants in the sales area. The show plants were only just starting to walk in as I was leaving, but I got some quick pictures of some absolute stunners. They are too big to fully appreciate in a photo, so you will just have to go along and see for yourself. Show is on Friday and Saturday. Details on flyer.

I said it would be spectacular! Doors open tomorrow. We have hundreds of flowering orchids on display, 1600 orchids for sale (I genuinely counted them in) and a stack of specialty plants supplied by vendors. So whether you want orchids, bromeliads, African violets, aroids, hoyas, succulents, cottage gardens or growing supplies, we have you covered in Ipswich this weekend. Silkstone State School, doors open at 8.30. See you there!
