When impact wrenches could not remove every marine fender bolt, a North Queensland maintenance team needed a different approach.

Using the Norbar EBT 7000 at its maximum 7,000 N·m setting, the crew successfully removed all 10 resistant bolts in one shift, without resorting to flogging spanners.

The successful trial demonstrated a safer and more controlled method that could support the operator’s future fender maintenance and replacement program.
