Our Members operate 950+ retail and trade stores around Australia. It's an excellent informal forum for the exchange of ideas and information between members.

HBT National Buying Group (formally Hardware & Building Traders) is a buying group created for independent hardware, building supplies, industrial, paint, rural, garden & timber retailers. HBT has fostered a strong culture of support and co-operation between it's members through our regular member meetings. Suppliers also enjoy these meetings as an opportunity to present new products and build per

sonal relationships. All members are independently owned and operated businesses. We run very lean with a minimal yet highly professional administrative structure. Our Executive is composed of store owners/managers (members) who are responsible for approving all membership and supplier matters.
