European-style, double-glazed windows feature German-made handles which open the windows in two ways – both inward and in tilt style.
The inward option makes cleaning both sides of the glass easy, also providing a wide opening, while the tilt option allows for ventilation without letting rain inside. 🌱

The Fern is Australia’s first apartment building certified to Passivhaus standards, a German form of sustainable building design that emphasises airtightness, triple glazing, solar panels and better thermal design.

Creating a perfectly quiet, bright, fresh oasis with goldilocks temperature’s year round. 🌟🌱

What’s unusual and inspiring about the building is both the final result, the Southern Hemisphere’s first Passive House concrete apartment building, but also the journey that Oliver took as architect, builder and developer to achieve this outcome.

Triple Glazing Australia are super proud to feature our premium IV68 Timber-aluminium Tilt + Turn windows and M190 Lift + Slide doors; installed at this stunning HIA Greensmart Award Winning Passive House Certified project.

The apartments are 40 times more airtight than your average home, keeping out dust, noise and insects….bushfire smoke.
