We encountered an unexpected issue with a client’s small prep grind. Upon inspection, we discovered that there was 45mm of previously applied floor prep that was drummy and hollow, which is not a solid foundation for tile installation. We promptly removed the flawed material and ground the surface to prepare it properly for the tiler.

Effective floor preparation is essential for any flooring installation.
