That’s a wrap on Design Show Australia 2026 – TileZu’s very first expo! 🥂

The 3 days were absolutely incredible, and this business we’re building was so well received by the community that we ran out of chocolate strawberries to hand out! (Were you one of the lucky 150 who snagged some? 👀)

We had many conversations with architects, designers, developers, and creatives who share our passion for surfaces that actually excite people. We didn’t start TileZu to supply the same tiles you find everywhere. We started it because after 16 years in the trade, Sam wanted to bring something different – curated collections, real installation knowledge, and a team that genuinely cares.

The response at the show confirmed we’re on the right track!

Thank you to everyone who visited Stand 1948. The moody black booth, the tiled plinths, flexible stone that stopped people mid-stride, unreleased Japanese mosaics everyone wanted to take home – it all came together better than we imagined.

Design Show Australia 2026 – our very first expo – is officially wrapped 🥂 Design Show Australia

3 full days at ICC Sydney, hundreds of incredible conversations, cheeks aching from smiling and laughing so much, and the overwhelming feeling that we're exactly where we're meant to be.

TileZu launched only a year ago, born from 16+ years of tiling experience and a desire to do things differently. We didn't want to be another tile supplier with walls of white gloss and the same collections you see everywhere. We wanted to bring something fresh – curated surfaces that are innovative, interesting, and designed for people who care about what goes into a space.

Design Show was our chance to share that vision in person. And the response genuinely moved us! We connected with architects, interior designers, developers, and fellow creatives who get it – people who are in this industry because they're drawn to it, led by passion and creativity. Those are our people!

A few highlights:
→ Our moody black stand (Stand 1948) turned heads
→ The flexible natural stone stopped people in their tracks
→ Our unreleased Japanese mosaics had everyone asking "when can we order?"
→ The chocolate strawberries disappeared (too!) fast

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat, swapped details, and made our first expo so memorable. Orders are already being actioned, samples are shipping, and we're more motivated than ever!

It’s TileZu’s first expo, and even our first physical display, and it has been received overwhelmingly well! We have had the most incredible time at Design Show Australia, meeting some beautiful and incredibly talented people, and are so honoured to showcase our range and express our passion for what we do in person 🖤

The first 2 days have been a whirlwind, we’re ready for day 3! Thank you so much for all of the support, from those around us and especially the new ones we’ve met at the show ☺️

We are just getting started and have so much to share!

Just a reminder that the TileZu team will be attending the Sydney Design Show at ICC Sydney from 11–13 June.
