My Bestie, who lives 800 meters away, was first on the scene to grab the new Hot Pink goodes, so she could make herself the most 80's inspired bag. 😆 Do you recognize the pattern? It's the Passionflower by Blue Calla Patterns. It's such a great size that I think I need to make one for myself, but I'd try to out out-do my Bestie's bag at being even more blindingly 80's. 🤣

Just an FYI - The process to make these awesome coloured hardware means that the colour can vary slightly from dye lot to dye lot. I recommend buying as much as you want from this batch, so everything matches, and especially buy the rivets. They came with pretty high defect rate because of way they are made (paint coating done by hand!), so they aren't worth trying to make these again. Don't worry, I inspected them all and kept the rejected ones for myself. 😅

My Multicolour Dots zipper tape was running low, so I was preparing my order with my supplier when I was struck by an idea: what if I made the dots smaller??
It arrived and I am so glad for my impulsive ideas. 🤣 I love it! The zipper tape now matches the webbing even more, and now there's more dots visible when sewn into a bag! 😍. Hot Pink is starting to arrive! Webbing, Waterproof Oxford, and some hardware, have arrived. Waiting on the adjustable sliders, the 8x8 rivets, matching checkerboard zipper pulls, and a few other styles of zipper pulls. Tomorrow, several hot pink zipper tapes are being delivered to me!

The waterproof Oxford finally arrived, and it's glorious to sew! I've made two things with it already - not having to interface has seriously changed my life. 😅

There are a few folks that I can either blame or thank for my new obsession with Hot Pink. Are you one of them? 🤣

My supplier showed me their progress on the hardware, and now I'm freaking excited to see these in person. There are swivel hooks, sliders, rivets, pulls, zipper tape, webbing, and waterproof oxford fabric, in production as well! I'll be making myself a and bag for sure. 😆💕🖤
