Today, LHBA’s Women in Construction Committee had the privilege of visiting Karen's Place London to meet residents, tour the home and hear more about the amazing work the team does every day; thank you for the warm welcome!
During our visit we presented a donation of $4,500 from the proceeds of our Women in Construction Luncheon in March.

Karen’s Place London offers safe and supportive, shared transitional housing for women in London, Ontario who are 50 plus, homeless, precariously housed, or have no fixed address.
Our committee hopes that our donation and future initiatives will help to support the incredible home being shared with women right here in our community.

We are very pleased to share that Ryan Murdoch, CPA has been appointed President of North Pole Trim and Supplies Ltd.

Ryan has been an integral part of North Pole since 2019, bringing strong financial expertise and a steady, people-first leadership style. He began his career in public accounting, gaining experience across manufacturing and agriculture, before joining North Pole as Chief Financial Officer. Since then, he has taken on a wide range of responsibilities, always stepping up to support the team and the business.

Known for his thoughtful approach and problem-solving mindset, Ryan believes strong relationships are the foundation of great work. As President, he remains committed to the values that have defined North Pole since 1979 - supporting our team, delivering for builders, contractors and renovators, and helping our customers succeed.

Outside of work, Ryan is a husband, father, amateur golfer, and self-proclaimed NHL free agent; bringing the same energy and dedication to everything he does.
