Thank you Portage and surrounding communities for making our first community afternoon and car show such a success! At one count we had 60 cars/trucks in the show. Shout out to Portage ARC and their "No Ordinary Dog" for serving delicious lunch items; to Lorne Edwards and Ledzled Music for playing great tunes perfect for the occasion. BIG thanks to the Portage Vintage Cruisers for gracing our parking lot with your beautiful vehicles. We were told we had participants from Winnipeg, Brandon and area, Gladstone and from Saskatchewan!
Thank you Linda and Jodi for your work at the raffle table and taking pictures. Thanks to our yard staff for the assistance with set up and take down. Thank you to our store staff for doing what you do best in taking care of customers!
**The winner of the M&Y gift card, for his guess of 313 screws was Laurie Ringland and so that everyone knows, there was 327 in the bucket!
**Winner of the Milwaukee tool bag and blower was Joe McNabb!
**Winner of the 50/50 draw was Debbie Thiessen. We took in ticket sales of $540, so Debbie will take home $270.
In addition to the $270 that McMunn's will donate to the First Presbyterian Soup Kitchen, we are topping that up by $230 so that we can present them with an even $500 to help them help the community in need.
