Construction Disruption From YouTube to Broadcast, coming soon EARLY 2027! Kris Potts challenges old rules to build better, faster, and more affordable housing for all.

There isn't a single housing crisis in Canada. It has many.

They promised us they'd build homes. But a press release is not a home. A permit is not a home. So how do we build ourselves out of this mess with a system that's fundamentally flawed?

We're hunting for these big ideas. Join Construction Disruption as we air on national broadcast early 2027.

More work, same team. Something has to change.

Kris is looking at whether AI could help his construction company keep up — but what does that actually mean?

AI in construction isn’t just about robots or generating designs. It could help with the everyday work behind the scenes: finding information, organizing projects, supporting sales and accounting, and automating repetitive tasks.

The possibilities are real. The harder task is actualizing them.

Follow Construction Disruption as Kris and the team explore what AI could do for the way we work and build.

We can print the walls. But can you get the permits?

3D concrete printing has the potential to change how we build—but proving a new construction method works is only part of the challenge. From testing material performance to preparing the documentation, planning, and approvals needed to move forward, innovation still has to make its way through the real-world construction process.

The application is in. The work has been done.
So what happens next?

Follow the journey on Construction Disruption as we look at what it actually takes to bring new building technology from an idea to the job site.

Congratulations to Seeing Red Media on an incredible Runway of Rezilience! We loved meeting so many people, hearing their stories, and feeling the passion behind this movement.

A powerful conversation about housing and hope stayed with us, reminding us why conversations like these matter.

Huge thanks to Director Joel Stewart everyone who showed up and shared their voice. Onward together!

Your city water travels through 100 years of old, broken pipes before it reaches your tap.

The treatment plant does its job. Then the water crosses thousands of kilometres of porous mains where contaminants seep in. No protection between there and your glass.

So we put an industrial UV reactor right where water enters the building. One more barrier between the source and the tap.

Your water filter could be growing bacteria.

Reverse osmosis removes metals, salts and minerals. What it does not do is handle bacteria. The membrane can become the perfect place for it to grow.

The scary part: you trust that filtered line more than the tap. UV works differently. Here is why.

80% of buildings that clean out a Legionnaires outbreak get it again.

Old pipes hold decades of biofilm. A chemical flush cleans them, but it does not keep them clean. UV disinfection installed after the flush locks in the clean for good.

Here is how older buildings finally break the cycle.

Big move for affordable housing in Toronto 🚨

Six-unit buildings can now be approved without going through the Committee of Adjustment — cutting 3 to 6 months from the process.

That means less red tape, faster approvals, and the opportunity to start testing projects right now.

The search is officially on. 🏘️

We're not just building a house—we're helping write the playbook. 🚧

There are no established specs. No proven process. No Canadian precedent for a 3D-printed home using fiberglass reinforcement.

We're combining multiple breakthrough construction methods into a single project, which means every step comes with new questions, new approvals, and new challenges to solve.

This is what innovation in construction really looks like: pushing boundaries, navigating the unknown, and building what's never been built before.
