Another successful touring down.

After four years it’s still always exciting to see what our community is able to put together. The builds and re-specs were top-notch, It’s amazing to watch everyone evolve their builds year after year.

Big thanks to everyone that put in the work to create something special and endure the less than ideal weather for our big night.

Frame raise on Dylans Celica.

We have already raised most of the critical components on this Celica over the years but it was finally time to begin working on the next spec. The first step to bring Dylan's Celica to the next stage was to cut and raise the frame. We cut about 20mm from the frame to raise it to the same level of the pinch welds for optimal driveabliity. We boxed the shortened frame sections with 3mm steel plate and blended the welds to maintain an oem appearance. The overall ground clearance increase is significant and should allow the car to drive at a very low height without touching the ground.

We will be working on the full treatment on Dylans Celica and look forward to posting more of the process.

Summer meeting 2024

Every year we are surprised with what our local community puts together for these events and this year was no exception.

After 3 years the dedication and spirit everyone has shown blows me away. The quality of the cars keeps getting better and I can’t wait to see them continue to advance.

Thank you so much to everyone that put in the effort to build a car for the event and everyone that made the trip out from far and wide.

Summer meeting 2024

Acquisition of a new base!

I had many people ask me why I sold the Butame, and this is why! After many months scouring the world to find my dream car, found a this beautiful laurel! The only complication is that it was in Western Norway. As expected, shipping options from Norway to Canada were quite limited so we began to plan a route to get the car home to Canada.

After selling most of my belongings and months of planning we made our way to Bergen Norway where the car had been stored for the last 10 years. The seller Martin was very accommodating and was kind enough to get the car through inspection and registration, loan us a car to run errands with and offer us a place to work on the car to prepare it for the long journey to Amsterdam.

After a number of small repairs we met with , a long time internet friend. This was our first time meeting, He ended up being one hell of a tour guide on this trip.
