From Empty Lot to Playable Padel Court
An empty lot, a back car park, that flat strip behind the clubhouse nobody uses. None of it looks like a sports venue yet โ but that's usually where a Sports Tent begins.
Here are the three setups we see most often.
1) A city lot becomes a Padel Court Tent.
Site prep first: level the ground, sort out drainage, and confirm where the anchors can go. Then pick the span. Widths run from 10m to 60m, with unlimited length โ so you can open with two courts and add more later without tearing anything down. Sidewall height does more than people expect. 2.7m or 3m keeps the space compact; 4m, 6m and 8m open up airflow and sightlines. All customizable.
2) A school adds a Single Court Tennis Tent or a Basketball Court Tent.
Schools usually start with one court and grow from there. PVC fabric sidewalls go up fastest. Hard steel wall gives the perimeter a more solid feel. Glass wall keeps play visible from outside, which matters when the hall faces a campus walkway.
3) A hotel or club covers its pool for year-round use.
A covered natatorium is mostly a humidity and seasonality problem. The roof fabric is 850g/sqm white PVC, and the structure is built to run in all-weather mode instead of being packed away every winter.
What holds all three together is the frame โ hardpressed aluminum alloy T6061/T6, modular by design, so a setup can be assembled, extended, or moved to another site later. If your footprint is unusual, OEM and ODM customization are part of the normal process, not a special request.
One thing worth planning early: once you're past a single court, or repeating the same build across several locations, the question stops being about product and starts being about supply. Typical production lead time is 7โ45 days against a monthly capacity of 50,000 units โ that's what turns a pilot court into a rollout.
HUANYUTENT (Changzhou HuanYu Tent & House Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) builds these modular aluminum sports structures from its base in Changzhou, Jiangsu, and works with clubs, schools, hotels and importers on both single courts and multi-site programs.
So which of the three is closest to your own site? The empty lot, the school yard, or the pool deck?
