Most greenhouses have symmetrical roofs. But saw-tooth design turns that around – literally.

The roofs face opposite directions, creating a “锯齿相对” (offset) pattern.

Why this matters:
✅ Hot air rises and escapes through the high side vents
✅ Cooler air enters from the lower opposite side

Door → Film → Spring Lock: How to Install (and 2 mistakes to avoid)


📌 Step-by-step: attach greenhouse film to a door frame

1️⃣ Lay film over the frame (leave 5–10cm extra on each side)
2️⃣ Press the spring wire / spring lock into the groove – start from the middle, then go outward
3️⃣ Tuck the extra film tight, no wrinkles

⚠️ Two things to watch out for:
❌ Don’t stretch the film too hard – it will tear in the sun
❌ Don’t leave gaps at the corners – use a second short spring clip for corners

✅ The film should be firm but slightly loose to allow expansion on hot days.

That’s it. No tools needed for most spring locks.
