10kV Distribution Network “Cable Watchdog”
It features high-precision wide-range zero-sequence current detection, suitable for both
high-current and low-current grounding systems.In arc-suppression coil grounded
systems, the grounding current can be as low as 2 A;in low-resistance grounded
systems, the grounding current can reach hundreds of amperes.
· Fast tripping response, acting prior to substation protection.The time delay of substation
zero-sequence protection is about 200– 500 ms.The sectionalizer cabinet is required to
complete zero-sequence detection, comparison and interruption within 200 ms.
· Simple and practical communication mode, reliable fault location method. Since the
substation cannot reclose before the fault point is identified, the sectionalizer cabinet shall
send fault information quickly and reliably after detecting and tripping to isolate phase-tophase short-circuit faults, enabling the substation to promptly restore power supply to nonfault lines.
· Operating Power Supply Solution.In the event of a phase-to-phase short-circuit fault, the
sectionalizer cabinet must complete the automatic tripping of the fault section under line
power-off conditions.
