Aluminum mylar film, also called aluminum foil, aluminized mylar, Al-PET. It is a composite material and widly used in cable shielding. You can find it in LAN cables, USB cables, coxial cables, and HDMI cables. Aluminum foil have good shielding performance, and the PET film makes the aluminum foil much more tough so that it can bear stronger stretch.

The aluminum mylar can be cut into customized width,suitable for different cable and wire manufacturing. The minimum width can be 1 mm,and if the width less than 5mm, we recomend you to use the small spool type, it is more stable and not easily collapse. Other width can choose pad type, it is cheap and covenient choice. If you are LAN cable manufacturer, we recomend you the wooden spool type, it is very long so that you don't need to feed the machine frequently. For example, a 0.04mm thick aluminum mylar with 10 mm width, which is most widly used specification in LAN cable manufacturing, usually weighs about 25 kgs per roll, and the length can be 20kms per roll.

Colors can be customized, and silver color and blue color is the commonly used color, besides silver and blue, there are also pink, green,cyan, black, grey, purple, yellow, copper and other colors. If you need a exactly color, you can send us a piece of sample and we can try to produce some samples for your trail.Usually sample production needs to be paid.
