🔍🌀 What's the difference between an induced draft fan and a blower? Both are devices used to increase combustion air supply, but they have several differences. Let's explore the distinctions between them.
1️⃣ Different Applications:
Induced draft fan: Boosts fuel/air for boilers, furnaces, operating at around 100°C.
Blower: Transports clean air/gas, boosting for various equipment, operates between 0°C to 40°C.
2️⃣ Varied Airflow:
Induced draft fan: Centrifugal type, airflow ranging from 1000m³/h to 50,000m³/h.
Blower: Spiral type, offers much larger airflow, from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of m³/h.
3️⃣ Diverse Impeller Structures:
Induced draft fan: Typically backward-curved impeller, suitable for low-speed, high-pressure operations.
Blower: Usually forward-curved and forward-inclined impeller, lower pressure but larger airflow, minimizes vibration and noise during operation.
