The China CITIC Bank Hangzhou Branch New Building features a total floor area of 62,524 m², a height of 99.9 meters, 20 above-ground floors, and 3 basement levels, with a total waterproofing construction area of 20,000 m².

The basement employs a dual-wall construction technique, with the core challenge being the seamless integration between the underground diaphragm wall and the waterproofing membrane of the base slab. Luban Waterproofing's customized solution includes:

· Subgrade Waterproofing: 1.5mm thick Ludu EPDM waterproofing membrane, fully adhered with butyl adhesive; A lightweight partition wall was installed 60 cm inside the diaphragm wall (with a 40 cm high reinforced concrete upstand at the base). The gap between the diaphragm wall and partition wall served as a drainage channel. This was complemented by spraying 1.5 mm thick Ludu rapid-setting rubberized bitumen waterproof coating, applied to a height extending 1 meter above the floor slab and base slab.

· Basement ceiling & roof: Employ a composite waterproofing layer consisting of 2mm Ludu cold-applied non-curing rubber asphalt coating + 1.5mm Ludu EPDM waterproofing membrane (externally reinforced type).
