We just destroyed a perfectly good panel. On purpose.

Here's why that matters if you're importing PU sandwich panels:

Every batch, our QC team pulls 3 random panels off the line — and tests them to failure.

The 3 tests your supplier should be doing (but many skip):

1. Core density check We cut a 100mm x 100mm cube from the panel center. Weight it. If density deviates more than 2% from 40kg/m³ — the entire batch gets flagged. Lower density = weaker insulation = higher energy bills. Simple math.

2. Adhesion pull test Steel skin glued to PU foam. A hydraulic tester pulls them apart at 10mm/min. Our minimum: 0.15 MPa. Below that? Delamination risk during shipping. We've seen panels arrive at ports with bubbling — that's what happens when adhesion fails.

3. Fire reaction — the one that makes buyers nervous Small flame, 30 seconds, direct contact. B1 rating means: flame self-extinguishes within 2 seconds of removal, no flaming droplets, smoke density below threshold. We video every test and send the footage with the shipment docs.
