Why Did FARFLY Receive Positive Feedback at KazBuild 2026?

One thing became clear during our conversations at KazBuild 2026:

Customers are not only looking for a flooring supplier. They want to know whether the supplier has real project experience and whether the product performance can be verified.

For FARFLY, two points attracted particular attention at the exhibition:

✓ Real international project references
Our healthcare and high-specification flooring experience in overseas markets gave visitors a clearer understanding of how FARFLY supports actual projects—not just product sales.

✓ A consistent focus on testing and certification
For project flooring, claims are not enough. Customers want technical data, test reports and certifications that can support product evaluation, project approval and material submittals.

This is why we continue investing in product testing, compliance documentation and project-specific technical support.

A good flooring solution should be supported by both:

Proven project experience + Verifiable technical evidence

That is also how FARFLY approaches healthcare, sports and other high-specification flooring projects.

If you have a project requirement, specification or standard to meet, send it to us. We can help you review the application and identify the relevant flooring solution and available documentation.

Cutting Floor Maintenance Time With Commercial PVC Flooring

Anyone who runs a busy building knows the drill. The floor looks fine at 9 a.m. By 6 p.m. it's dull, scuffed, and covered in footprints from the entrance.

For a lot of facility managers, that isn't a cosmetic problem — it's payroll. Buffing, stripping, re-waxing, mopping the same stretch of corridor day after day, usually on top of everything else on the list.

Here's the part that rarely makes it into the flooring budget: maintenance hours.

Commercial PVC flooring behaves differently from a coated or tiled surface. In a roll layout there are very few seams for dirt to settle into, and PVC sheets don't soak up water the way porous materials do — a spill sits on top and wipes away. On homogeneous vinyl produced with FARFLYING FLOORING's TF surface treatment, there is no wax cycle to maintain at all. Damp mop, done.

A real example: an Australian badminton facility installed FARFLY PVC sports flooring across 16 courts. Ten years in, the operator reports 50% less maintenance than before — no stripping, no re-coating, no early replacement.

A few specs that back up the low-upkeep claim:

• Anti-bacterial performance rated at 99.50%, so daily cleaning is about removing soil, not fighting surface growth.
• Fire rating B-S1 on the homogeneous vinyl range, with reaction-to-fire testing to EN 13501-1, EN ISO 9239-1 and EN ISO 11925-2.
• Water doesn't pe*****te the sheet, which matters in entrances, clinics, kitchens, and anywhere a small spill can turn into an hour of work.

Fewer labour hours also mean fewer chemicals, less machine wear, and a maintenance schedule a small team can realistically keep. That's where lifecycle cost starts to move — replacement cost is only half the story, downtime is the other half.

So before you specify a floor for a high-traffic space, ask one question: how many maintenance hours per square metre per year will this surface need after year five? Suppliers who can't answer that usually haven't watched a building age.

What's eating the most floor upkeep time in your facility right now — the wax cycle, the seams, or the sheer traffic? Happy to walk through what those 16 courts over 10 years actually looked like.

How Can You Tell If a Flooring Test Report Is Reliable?

One question came up repeatedly during our conversations at KazBuild 2026:

“How can we verify whether a flooring test report is authentic?”

A professional report should clearly show key information such as:

✓ Testing laboratory and report number
✓ Applicant / manufacturer information
✓ Sample name, model and specification
✓ Test methods and measured results
✓ Issue date, signatures, stamps or QR codes
✓ Complete page numbers and report content

For reports issued by organizations such as SGS, buyers can also use the official document verification channels to check authenticity.

But there is another important point:

A genuine report does not automatically mean it applies to the exact product you are buying.

The product name, model, specification, sample source and tested performance should also match the proposed flooring.

At FARFLY, we believe compliance documentation should help customers verify products—not simply create more paperwork.

If you are reviewing flooring for a healthcare, sports or high-specification project, feel free to send us the required standards or performance parameters. We can help you identify the relevant product and available documentation.

CE, EN 14041, REACH: What They Actually Prove

A spec sheet lands on your desk with a neat row of logos along the bottom. CE. EN 14041. REACH. DIN 51130. All very reassuring. But what do they actually guarantee once that floor is sitting in an EU hospital corridor or a lab?

Short answer: they don't all say the same thing. Each one covers a different risk.

CE under EN 14041:2018 is the one that lets a resilient floor legally go to market in the EU. It isn't a quality badge. It's a declaration that the product was tested against the harmonised standard for reaction to fire, and — where the manufacturer actually claims them — slip resistance and electrical behaviour. Show a CE mark without saying which characteristics were assessed, and you've learned almost nothing.

REACH SVHC screening is the chemical side. It checks the material against the EU candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern, screened against a 205-substance list. This is the part EU procurement teams ask about most, because it touches what your cleaning staff and patients are breathing in all day. It's also why our homogeneous vinyl roll is built on an eco-friendly DOTP plasticizer instead of a conventional one.

Slip resistance sits under DIN 51130:2014-02, the ramp test behind every R number you see printed on a datasheet. R9 is the entry class, and that's what this roll carries. Fine for an operating theatre or a cleanroom floor. Not fine for a wet kitchen or a sloped loading dock — and no amount of CE branding changes that. Check the number, not the logo.

Electrical behaviour is the third line in EN 14041 that gets ignored until an ESD room shows up. Our conductive series holds a stable 10^4-10^6 ohm range, so it can be specified for spaces where static is a real problem rather than a theoretical one.

Here's the thing that matters more than the logos: the documents behind them come from outside labs — ICR Co. Ltd., SGS, EQO — not from the supplier who benefits from them.

So for your next tender, ask for three things. The EN 14041:2018 test report listing which characteristics were assessed. The REACH SVHC screening report with the substance count and the issuing lab. And the DIN 51130 report with the actual R value. If any one of the three is missing, that's your negotiation point — not something to guess at.

FARFLY (Wuxi Tefa Decoration Material Co., Ltd.) manufactures homogeneous vinyl flooring for healthcare, cleanroom and commercial projects, backed by 399+ international testing certificates. What goes out with a quotation is the same paperwork an EU importer needs to file.

Which line do you check first when a datasheet arrives — fire, slip, or emissions?

KazBuild 2026 Wrap-Up | Thank You for Meeting FARFLY in Almaty

KazBuild 2026 has come to an end, but many of the conversations we started in Almaty are just beginning.

Thank you to all the contractors, distributors, project teams and industry professionals who visited FARFLY during the exhibition.

Throughout the show, our discussions went beyond flooring products. We talked about:

✓ Flooring selection for healthcare, sports and high-specification environments
✓ Technical performance and verifiable documentation
✓ Installation and supporting materials
✓ Reliable supply and project delivery
✓ Customized products and local market requirements

For FARFLY, the most valuable part of KazBuild was understanding what real projects in Kazakhstan and Central Asia actually need.

If we did not have enough time to discuss your project at the booth—or if you couldn’t attend the exhibition—feel free to send us your application, specifications, project area and delivery requirements.

The conversation can continue after KazBuild.

Why Sports Floors Fail Early — and What the Tests Show

Walk into a sports hall a few seasons after a refurbishment and you can often tell something's off before anyone says a word. The ball sits a little flat off the surface. Center court looks polished where players pivot. And the same seams keep lifting, no matter how many times someone reglues them.

Facility managers know the pattern. So do the contractors who get the callback.

Most of the time, it isn't an installation problem. It's what the roll was made of — and what nobody tested before it went down.

Cheap PVC sports rolls often skip the fiberglass backing. Without that stabilizing layer, the sheet moves with every humidity swing, and eventually it ripples, cups at the edges, or splits along the seams. Thin wear layers go through fast in high-traffic zones. And when there's no published test data behind a product, nobody can say how it will behave after a few seasons of daily indoor play.

So the real question when you're replacing a sports floor isn't the price per square meter. It's simpler than that: what has this floor actually been tested to?

For FARFLYING FLOORING, that question has a documented answer. The Boguan PVC Sport Flooring line carries EN 14904-2006 physical and chemical property testing from OTC (report HQR170310004-02) and EN 13501-1:2007 reaction-to-fire testing, also from OTC (report HQR170310004-01). Phthalate testing to EN 14372:2004 was handled separately by ETS (report ETS19030602C).

Inside those reports are the numbers a facility manager eventually feels underfoot:

- Friction coefficient: 0.56 — grip for sharp stops, without grabbing at ankles.
- Ball bounce: 95% — consistent response off the surface, which matters for badminton, basketball and anything played over a net.
- Vertical deformation: 0.3mm — the surface gives a little under load, which is what takes stress off knees over years of play.
- Impact resistance 0.35mm, indentation resistance 0.27, wear resistance 120mg.
- Pentachlorophenol: not detected.

The sheet is built on an 8-way fiberglass mesh, the layer that holds dimensions steady as temperature and humidity move around the hall. The sports range is also BWF certified, which counts if badminton is on your schedule — the Badminton World Federation grades flooring from Grade 1 to Grade 3 and renews certification on a two-year cycle.

And there's field evidence, not just lab numbers. A badminton facility in Australia laid the flooring across 16 courts. Ten years in, the operator reports around 50% less maintenance than before.

For contractors and distributors pricing a job, the practical side looks like this: MOQ from 100 sqm, OEM/ODM customization across dimensions, colour, pattern, packaging, logo, craftsmanship and structure, monthly capacity up to 600,000 sqm, and 300,000 sqm of ready-to-ship stock behind a 7-day dispatch window with mix-container loading.

That last point matters more than it sounds. A hall closed for flooring is a hall that isn't earning.

If the floor you installed is already showing the signs — flat bounce, lifting seams, a worn center court — it's worth asking whether the product ever had test numbers behind it in the first place.

What fails first on your courts, the bounce or the seams?

A School Corridor Refit That Cut Slip Incidents

Let's be honest: corridor floors only get attention when something goes wrong.

That was the situation at a renovated school in the UAE. The main corridor had been in service for years, the floor was getting harder to keep clean, and slip-related incidents kept showing up in the daily log. Nothing that closed the building, but enough to worry the facilities team. During the renovation, they decided to change the spec instead of repeating it.

The floor they chose was certified homogeneous vinyl flooring from FARFLYING FLOORING — the brand of WUXI TEFA DECORATION MATERIAL CO., LTD., a China-based manufacturer that supplies homogeneous vinyl for healthcare and other high-traffic projects.

Two things mattered most in the decision. First, slip resistance. FARFLYING's homogeneous vinyl has been tested by SGS under DIN 51130:2014-02, with certificate XMIN2109010492CM. The project team had a documented safety reference, not just a vague "anti-slip" promise.

Second, upkeep. Homogeneous vinyl keeps the same composition through its full thickness, so there is no printed wear layer that can wear through. The TF surface treatment from FARFLYING also makes daily cleaning easier, and the floor doesn't need waxing to keep its look. For a corridor with constant foot traffic, that difference shows up in the cleaning schedule.

Look at it against traditional tiles, cement flooring, wood or floor coatings and the contrast is clear: this floor is more slip-resistant, waterproof, fire-rated B1, and antimicrobial. It also reduces bacterial cross-contamination by 50-70% compared with traditional surfaces and offers antibacterial efficacy up to 99.5% better than alternatives.

Since the corridor reopened, slip-related incidents in that area dropped by about half — not the kind of result that makes a dramatic headline, but exactly why the team chose it. The broader data supports the same direction: 30-40% fewer safety hazards than conventional finishes, 40-50% less maintenance, and 20-30% lower total cost over the product's lifecycle.

A floor doesn't have to be dramatic to do its job. When the specification is backed by testing, easy to clean, and cheaper to run over time, it quietly works.

For facility managers and specifiers handling school or healthcare projects: what tells you a floor is due for replacement — visible wear, cleaning problems, or an incident report?

FARFLY has just returned from KazBuild 2026 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
During the exhibition, one of the most common questions we heard was:
“Which flooring is best for my project?”
There is no single flooring solution that is best for every hospital, sports venue or high-specification environment.
The right solution depends on several connected factors:
- The application and functional area;
- Daily operating conditions;
- Required technical performance;
- Relevant standards and compliance requirements;
- Installation conditions;
- Project quantity and delivery schedule.
FARFLY starts by understanding what the project needs to achieve. We then help customers evaluate the product direction, verify the relevant technical evidence and develop a practical supply and delivery plan.
This video is the first part of our KazBuild 2026 exhibition recap. More exhibition-related content is coming, including:
- Frequently asked questions from customers;
- Medical flooring selection for different hospital areas;
- Sports flooring performance and application;
- ESD and other high-specification flooring requirements;
- Why FARFLY invests in product-specific testing and certification;
- How to verify whether a test report applies to the proposed product;
- What to prepare before requesting a flooring recommendation;
- Custom product development and private-label cooperation.
If you have a flooring project, send us the project location, application areas, required performance, approximate quantity and expected delivery schedule.
Let’s identify a flooring solution that is more suitable, verifiable and deliverable.

Gym Floor Upgrade: Can PVC Sport Flooring Handle Daily Play?

Think about what a gym floor faces before the doors even open.

The first class starts early, and from that moment the surface gets tested: quick lateral moves, dropped dumbbells, sweat, dragged equipment and the constant rhythm of feet. A commercial gym needs more than a floor that looks good in a brochure. It needs one that handles this routine safely and keeps performing all day.

When it is time for an upgrade, that is where PVC sport flooring comes in.

PVC sport flooring is a roll-type resilient floor built for indoor sports and fitness environments, and it is one of the most practical options within commercial PVC flooring. FARFLY FLOORING, part of WUXI TEFA DECORATION MATERIAL CO., LTD., produces it under the model name Boguan. The floor is made from polyvinyl chloride, calcium carbonate and an eco-friendly DOTP plasticizer, and it is intended for spaces like gyms, fitness centers, multi-purpose halls, dance studios and school sports areas.

How does it behave during a real training day? The key numbers from the Boguan PVC Sport Flooring tell the story.

- Friction coefficient of 0.56: This is about grip. It helps support secure footing when people pivot, change direction quickly or stop suddenly.
- Ball bounce of 95%: A useful quality if the gym also runs classes with ball games, badminton or basketball in a multi-use court.
- Impact resistance of 0.35 mm and vertical deformation of 0.3 mm: These values describe how the surface reacts to impact. A slight, controlled amount of cushioning can ease the load on joints when people jump or land.
- Indentation resistance of 0.27: Helps protect the floor from marks when weights, benches or machines rest on it.
- Wear resistance of 120 mg: Means the surface is built to resist abrasion from constant foot traffic and moving equipment.

Those numbers matter because a gym floor does not just sit there after installation. It becomes part of daily operations. From morning classes to late workout sessions, the floor is expected to stay non-slippery, keep its structure and look presentable after cleaning.

For gym owners and facility managers, PVC sport flooring also makes sense from a practical angle. Roll flooring is installed as a single continuous sheet, and it is chosen in commercial and public buildings for its waterproof, stain-resistant and antibacterial surface properties.

There is also the supply side of an upgrade. Renovation timelines depend on materials arriving on schedule. FARFLY FLOORING maintains a 300,000 sqm ready-to-ship inventory, offers a 7-day rapid dispatch model and supports mix-container shipping for global buyers. That kind of logistics support can keep a project on track.

A floor upgrade is not only about the first day. It is about how the surface performs after months of classes, heavy traffic and cleaning routines. For high-traffic commercial environments, PVC sport flooring with verified performance data gives gym owners a surface they can count on.

If you were upgrading a gym floor, which spec would you check first: grip, impact absorption or how quickly the supplier can ship?
