DAHE PEB Green Light Steel Building: Whole-Life Cycle Low-Carbon Design Concept 🌱
Different from traditional buildings that only focus on energy conservation during the use phase, DAHE PEB adheres to the "whole-life cycle low-carbon" design concept, integrating environmental protection into every link of light steel buildings—from raw material procurement, factory production, on-site construction, to long-term operation and maintenance, and demolition and recycling—fulfilling the mission of green buildings with verifiable data, adapting to the global low-carbon development trend.
✅ Raw Material Phase: Adopt highly recyclable G550 grade galvanized steel with a recycling rate of over 95%. We prioritize low-carbon steel produced by electric arc furnace short-process, reducing carbon emissions by about 40% compared with traditional steel production, reducing environmental load from the source. ✅ Production & Construction Phase: Factory-standardized prefabrication ensures light steel components reach millimeter-level precision, with material loss rate controlled within 3.2%, reducing construction waste by 77% compared with traditional on-site construction. Dry construction requires no large amount of water, no dust or wastewater pollution on the construction site, and carbon emissions are 62% lower than traditional construction. ✅ Operation & Maintenance Phase: The thermal bridge effect of the composite insulation structure of light steel buildings is more than 40% lower than that of concrete frames, and the energy consumption during the operation period is 25%-30% less than that of traditional concrete buildings, greatly reducing carbon emissions from heating and cooling, and saving more energy in long-term use. ✅ Demolition & Recycling Phase: Light steel buildings are detachable and recyclable. After demolition, steel can be 100% recycled and reused without landfilling, realizing a closed-loop cycle of "construction-recycling-reconstruction", and truly achieving zero waste and low pollution throughout the whole life cycle.
