Alex McDermott and Rob Hibberd will be guest speakers at the FOOTPRINT+ The New UK Property Event for a Zero Carbon Future in Brighton this week!

FOOTPRINT+ is the new annual 3-day event where every sector of the UK property industry will unite to discuss the state of the art methods to reduce carbon emissions and build the relationships necessary to help put them into practice.

Guests can attend focused talks, discuss the best ways to radically reduce building carbon emissions and build business relationships with the community who can help achieve Net Zero in real estate.

Yesterday saw Alex McDermott and Robin Hibberd CEng CEnv MICE ICIOB spending the afternoon at the LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group)!

Alex said: "We were delighted to be invited to the London Stock Exchange yesterday and to be present for the Market Close event. We had extensive discussions with senior figures in the world of private and public finance as we plan the global expansion of Concretene.

Huge thanks go to Innovate UK for the invitation and arrangements of the great day.

We are over the moon to receive The Mercer Innovation Award at the ICE North West Civil Engineering Awards last night for !

This award was specifically for the world's first commercial use of low carbon graphene enhanced concrete for the Mayfield Depot project at Escape to Freight Island.

We are exceptionally proud to receive this award, and cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Well done to everyone involved!

We have had a busy few weeks continuing to make history with Nationwide Engineering Group! We have been working on our latest graphene enhanced Concretene pour at to create a new 54x14 metre mezzanine floor, which will eventually be a roller disco at Escape to Freight Island. It was great to see the Concretene was setting so fast, that the finishers could work one end whilst the Concretene was still being poured the other end! Our Concretene achieved its ultimate strength within a number of hours, which you would usually expect to see between 7 and 21 days.

From this, we appeared on BBC News North West which discussed Concretene, and you can see further details about our great product. In case you missed it, check it out below.

We’ve now successfully poured over 800 tonnes of Concretene since May 2021 and we are proud to be pioneering this step change in Concrete technology, reducing the carbon footprint of Concrete by over 30%.
