🌲 This is stunning Scottish-grown European larch (not Japanese or hybridised larch), coming from the coldest and harshest parts of Scotland to ensure strong, slow-grown timber.

🌲 The timber is milled, kiln dried to approximately 18% moisture content (perfect for exterior use) and planed into a huge range of sizes

🌲68x16, 68x20, 68x26, 54x20 54x26 94x20mm... Just give us a shout with what you are looking for. 3.6m and 4.8m lengths are standard.

🌲 Most timber products are milled to order within 2-4 weeks.

Angus here from North Channel Timber.

We're a new business based in County Antrim specialising in timber cladding, decking, fencing and flooring. Right now, it's all scottish-grown and milled timber - European larch, oak and douglas fir sourced from pretty much the slowest grown timber available in the UK (north of Scotland).

I created the business because I'd always found it a nightmare buying cladding timber over here. So the aim is simple - focus on supplying quality timber, with up-front prices and great lead times.

Just beautiful, naturally durable timbers, grown and milled locally(ish!), without worrying about chopping down some tropical rainforest or using toxic timber treatments.

Apologies for the lack of good photos - I told myself I wouldn't try to pass off other people's images as my own and I'm going to stick with it!

RUSTIC CLADDING TIMBER

If you are aiming to achieve a more traditional or rustic look on your house or garden room or garage, we have a range of off-saw cladding timber boards that can create cladding styles like board-and-batten board-on-board and clapboard.

We have 12 and 16ft lengths (3.6 and 4.8m) available in scottish-grown larch and douglas fir with 2 weeks lead times. Standard widths are 4" and 6" (100 and 150mm) but other sizes can be milled to order. Oak and cedar also available.

Prices start at £30/m2 for 6x1"/2x1" board-and-batten in european larch.
