1. General Terms
By hiring equipment from T1 Tool Hire, you agree to the following terms. These terms apply to all rentals, including those arranged online, by phone, or in person.

2. Equipment Hire & Usage
• Responsibility: The hirer (customer) is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery/collection until it is returned.
• Proper Use: Equipment must be used safely and for its intended purpose. The hirer must follow all manufacturer instructions.
• Prohibited Uses: Equipment must not be used:
• In unsafe conditions.
• By untrained persons.
• For illegal purposes.

3. Hire Period & Late Returns
• The hire period begins upon delivery/collection and ends when the equipment is returned.
• Late Returns: If equipment is not returned by the agreed time, additional charges may apply.

4. Payment & Deposits
• Full hire payment must be made before collecting or receiving equipment.
• A refundable security deposit may be required. This will be returned upon inspection of undamaged equipment.
• Payment can be made via: Bank Transfer, Cash, or Card Payment.

5. Damage, Loss & Theft
• The hirer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment (excluding fair wear and tear).
• Any damage must be reported immediately.
• Repairs or replacements will be charged at full cost to the hirer.

6. Liability & Insurance
• T1 Tool Hire is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from improper use of the equipment.
• The hirer must ensure the equipment is used correctly and safely.
• If the hirer has business insurance, they must check if tool hire is covered.

7. Collection, Delivery & Returns
• Equipment can be delivered for an additional charge or collected by the hirer.
• The hirer must return equipment clean and in the same condition it was received.
• Any excessive dirt, damage, or missing parts may result in additional charges.

8. Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the hire start date may result in a cancellation fee.
• No refunds will be given once the hire period has started.
• If equipment is faulty, T1 Tool Hire will arrange a replacement or refund.

9. Agreement Confirmation
By hiring equipment from T1 Tool Hire, the hirer confirms:
✅ They have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
✅ They are responsible for the equipment during the hire period.
✅ They understand that they are liable for any damages, loss, or late return charges.
