Peep weep vents are an essential part of any cavity wall allowing water to escape helping prevent dampness. Weep vents provide essential ventilation for the internal wall cavity and drainage of water that may have entered the cavity through condensation, building damage or capillary action. Left unmaintained, weep holes can provide access for wasps and bees. It’s therefore vital that weep holes are maintained with suitable and dedicated weep vents, ensuring air can flow, water can drain and unwanted visitors are kept out.

Weep vents from Manthorpe provide drainage for DPCs, cavity trays and lintels and can be used in conjunction with our range of cavity trays when required. Discreet grilles and openings help to prevent the ingress of driving rain and insects. Diamond Weep®, the latest addition to the weep vent range provides improved drainage and self-cleaning due to the specialised diamond cross-section profile and robust mortar key thanks to upper and lower ribs along the outlet.

Manthorpe’s range of weep vents can be used on both new-build and refurbishment projects.
