Celebrating Our Partnership with the University of South Wales (USW)
Our partnership with USW has spanned many years, and we are proud to say it has grown from strength to strength. The university has been an active and valued participant in WBCC events—from formal business seminars to informal gatherings, and from carefully crafted professional programmes to our lively Eid and Ramadan celebrations.
Our community in Wales has benefited enormously from the dedication, time, and talent shared by USW students. Their involvement has brought energy, creativity, and invaluable support to our activities, enriching both our cultural and professional events.
We look forward to continuing this strong partnership and building even more meaningful opportunities together for the Wales–Bangladesh community.

Message from the President of the Wales Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce
We at the WBCC hope our 2025 Business Seminar was a success for everyone who attended.
As President, I, Abdul Alim, would like to express my heartfelt thanks to our Director General, Imtiaz Hussain, all of our Directors, and our Senior Advisor, Dilabor Hussain.

The success of any organisation lies in the strength of its team, and ours has shown outstanding dedication. They have worked tirelessly to communicate with businesses, sponsors, dignitaries, and visitors—bringing everyone together to make this year’s seminar a true achievement. Without their commitment, our work would not be possible.

I would also like to remind everyone that the WBCC is a not-for-profit organisation.
Our entire team consists of volunteers who receive no financial gain for their hard work. Their passion for serving our community is what drives us forward.

We now look ahead to 2026 and the opportunities that lie before us as we continue to keep Wales and Bangladesh on the world map for business, trade, and tourism.

For the WBCC, both countries are home. Many of us were born in Bangladesh, but Wales is our present and our future—while our history and pride remain deeply rooted in Bangladesh.
Together, we move forward.
