🚨🚨 The Va**ng Tax………and what does this mean for you? 🚨🚨
🔔 So very quickly before we get into this - there is another issue effective from April 1st and that is the Chinese export tax rebate removal.
This is for a number of reasons like price wars internally and trade tariff retaliation to name a couple.
You should be aware that this may result in higher pricing and shortages on many products, not just in this sector, but across the board. To the tune of around 13%.
Krazey as always vow to keep any increases to a minimum and will continue to work behind the scenes with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the best bang for your buck in these already strenuous times. 🔔
Now, onto October. The va**ng tax or VPD will come into effect on October 1st of this year.
We could debate all day on fairness (which we think it isn’t) but essentially it is coming.
It will apply to ALL liquids intended for va**ng purposes containing ni****ne or not. This will include pre filled pods, diy liquids, shortfills etc etc.
The duty in itself will be £2.20 plus VAT per 10ml, so that brings us to £2.64 per 10ml of liquid.
Onto what this means for you. And for that I will give you some examples…….

£12 Hyola 6k > £14.64, refill pod £8 > £10.64
£12 IVG Pro > £15.17, refill pod £8 > £11.17

⭐️*Please note that these figures are not gospel, but to give you an idea of what to expect only. VAT and extra admin across multiple lines in the chain may be another factor to be included. As well as the previously mentioned Chinese VAT rebate removal*⭐️
From October there will be a duty stamp on your products retail packaging. The seal also can’t be opened without damage.
There will be a grace period of 6 months to clear old stock taking us up to April 1st 2027 and then everything will come into full effect.
We’d like to reiterate that this is a government taxation, and what you pay we also pay. So you may see some downsizing on certain products in store.
