Here at KR Group, we like to do our bit to cut carbon emissions. Below are a few examples of actions we have taken:

✅ KRBON Reduction Initiative – Our flagship circular economy division, developed with Zero Waste Scotland, is repurposing cladding waste into valuable insulation, alongside other products such as safety nets and wooden pallets. It’s our bold step toward reducing carbon emissions and keeping materials out of landfill.

✅ Solar Panels – Our HQ is powered in part by renewable energy, thanks to rooftop solar PV systems that harness the power of the sun.

✅ Smart Lighting – Motion-sensor lighting throughout our offices reduces unnecessary electricity use and keeps our energy efficiency high.

✅ EV Charging Points – We support environmentally-friendly transport by providing EV charging stations on site, helping cut transport-related emissions.

✅ Recycling & Wormery – From paper to packaging to food scraps, we recycle what we can—and our office wormery turns food waste into nutrient-rich compost!

Throwback to this project where a customer used our repurposed PIR boards to insulate their loft. Before installation, they relied on costly heaters — now they’re keeping their space warm and comfortable more efficiently.
