Iconic Engineering Solutions Ltd are combining their 3D Solidworks capability with new high specification (certified by Solidworks) Dell mobile and desktop workstations. No longer will customers have to worry when they may exceed their design capacity with software licences or available hardware as Iconic can provide both. The new setup allows Iconic to provide 3D modelling services, 2D drafting for manufacturing, photo realistic rendering of concept models, FEA and motion studies as well as full assembly drawings and documentation. Iconic offers a fully supported service with assistance from their preferred Solidworks re-seller NT CADCAM.

Serious drilling performance on the shop floor this week.

We’ve been putting the CERATIZIT WTX 25mm x10D Drill through its paces machining 6082 aluminium — drilling 150mm deep in just 14 seconds per hole on our Romi GL250S turning centre.

The results have been seriously impressive:
