Most buildings pre 1920 are solid wall construction, the use of modern cement and gypsum based plasters lock in moisture and increase the conduction of heat. An insulated lime plaster allows the moisture to leave, drying the fabric of the building, the whole system reduces heat loss, energy use and therefore heating bills!
