Transit Handrail Lighting is diving to new depths
We are very pleased to be associated with the development of a new 24 person submarine. Our versatile, Stainless Steel projectors provide all of the internal lighting.
Maintaining the vessels simple design, the high level 48mm diameter handrails also double up act as grab rails for passenger safety.

Our NEW RAILPost projector. Designed to fit easily into metal tube as in Balustrade posts for balconies and decking, or individual posts for driveways and footpaths. RAILPost can also be mounted facing upwards to create dramatic wallwashing, highlight features or signs. Despite it’s appearance RAILled is incredibly tough and water resistant. Manufactured in Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel to provide excellent corrosion resistance.Waterproof to IP67, vandal resistant to IK10.
This sophisticated projector throws light away from the handrail, efficiently illuminating walkways and stairs. The factors of lighting intensity and uniformity can be optimised at the design stage by picking one of a choice of lenses with spreads from 16-70 degrees. However the principle factor controlling uniformity is the distance that light can be projected away from the handrail.
