Hello 👋🏼 . I just wanted to come on here and apologise for a very long silence here on Instagram and also explain a little bit about what’s been going on….

My mother, earlier this year, was diagnosed with cancer - and it has been a very long and difficult journey since. I have done a lot of travelling, and the stress has been immense. Trying to look after a small business, a small child and also my increasingly frail mother in another country - has taken its toll. On November 5th my mum was no longer conscious and the family held vigil by her bedside - and at one point it seemed that she would pass on the same day as Coco did two years ago. But, strong as my mother has always been, she held out for a full 9 days and nights ( ! ) - and finally passed away in the morning on Friday 14th. My mother taught me everything I know about creativity: drawing, painting, baking, knitting, sewing - and the list goes on… She died far too young, but her legacy will live on.

Bye mum, thank you for being such a remarkable person, always sweet, kind and with a big smile on your face. Thank you for everything taught me. You will be so sorely missed. 💔
