A little Italian rain hasn’t dampened spirits! 🌧️🇮🇹

This week, members of our Sales and Service teams are visiting the Merlo factory in Cuneo, Italy, building their product knowledge and strengthening the expertise that supports our customers every day.

It’s an impressive, innovative factory, with so much to see, and a great opportunity to learn from the people behind the machines. Being there together gives our sales and service colleagues the chance to share experiences and deepen their understanding of the equipment we sell and look after.

A big thank you to everyone at Merlo Italia and Merlo UK for their time, expertise and warm hospitality. 💚

🐑 October marks one of the busiest times in the sheep farming calendar. As ewes are prepared and introduced to rams, careful planning is key to a successful lambing season in spring.

From checking stock to transporting equipment across the farm, trust your Honda ATV to help you stay on top of the job and keep things moving during tupping season.

Built for the demands of every season. 💪

🚜 Investing in the future of agriculture!

This week, our Demonstrator Mark Cooper took a New Holland T7.340 and Lemken Karat 4m mounted cultivator to Writtle College for a practical session with 20 first-year agricultural engineering apprentices from across the country, including some of our own Ernest Doe apprentices.

After an introduction to the tractor and cultivator, each apprentice had the chance to get behind the wheel in the field, use GPS steering and experience the power and capabilities of the combination first-hand.

Plenty of smiles and valuable hands-on experience! Thank you to Writtle College and all the apprentices for an enjoyable day, and to Mark for sharing his knowledge with the next generation. 👏

🚜 A different kind of driving day at Ulting! 🚓

We were pleased to welcome police officers from Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Kent to our Ulting HQ this week for a hands-on introduction to some of the machinery we supply and support.

From New Holland Agriculture and CASE IH tractors with trailers to CASE Construction Equipment excavators, together with the New Holland CR10 combine and the mighty Case IH Quadtrac, there was plenty for our visitors to get to grips with!

Our team were on hand to explain the controls, answer questions and help officers experience these machines from the operator’s seat. For officers whose work can involve agricultural and construction vehicles, that practical insight is valuable, whether dealing with road safety, collisions or rural crime.

It was a pleasure to share our knowledge and build relationships with the officers working to keep our customers and communities safe.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our Transport Manager, Natalie Cogram, and the rest of our team for making it such an enjoyable and worthwhile day. The sunshine was a welcome bonus! ☀️

Even with the tractor on line, the implement can still move off course.

Raven Disc Steering uses disc coulters behind the implement to help correct steering variance and keep the implement following the intended guidance line more consistently.
