The Great British Jaguar Day at Bicester Motion was a wonderful celebration of one of Britain’s great motoring marques. We were privileged to spend time with fellow enthusiasts, owners and friends, sharing stories and enjoying the rare sight of so many significant Jaguars brought together in one place. This special occasion was made possible by Chris Harris and Friends.
Our display included two C-Types - both of which had received silverware at the 2025 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Joining them were two significant XK120s, one being ‘MGJ 79’ - an early alloy-bodied roadster which was the first XK120 to cross the finish line at Le Mans in 1950, beautifully prepared by our friends at CKL Developments. Completing our display was the ever-popular XJR-15.
Chris Harris took to the stage and was joined by David Brabham, who shared stories from the Jaguar Inter-Continental Challenge, his time competing in North America, and his career in Formula One. Afterwards, David fired up the XJR-15, much to the delight of the crowd.
Thank you to the owners who allowed us to share these special cars with such an enthusiastic audience. We’d also like to thank Guy Broad Spares who awarded the XK120 as ‘most desirable straight-six car’.
