We’re really proud to share that RGC has been recognised at the Concrete Society, Devon & Cornwall Awards 2026 in the Sustainability category 🎉

This award means a lot to us. It reflects the work we’ve been doing to develop a concrete solution that not only performs at a high level but also helps reduce environmental impact. Our low-carbon cement technology can cut CO₂ emissions by at least 68%, and it’s been fantastic to see this in action through our recent trial projects with industry partners.

The awards evening at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Plymouth was a great opportunity to celebrate innovation across the sector and connect with others who are passionate about the future of construction.

RGC was proud to participate in the Plymouth Net Zero Expo, an event organised by Climate Connections Plymouth, funded by Plymouth City Council, to bring together innovators, businesses, and community organisations working toward a low-carbon future.

The Expo gave us the opportunity to connect with a wide range of companies and SMEs across the construction and related industries. These conversations provided valuable insights into new technologies and potential pathways for future collaboration.

We also had the chance to showcase our RGC technology, highlighting its scientific foundations and its potential to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions within the cement and construction sectors—key steps toward supporting global net-zero goals.

A big thank you to Plymouth City Council for hosting such an inspiring event!

We’re excited to share the successful results of our recent trial in Cornwall, where Real Green Concrete (RGC) partnered with Oscrete and Denis May & Sons Ltd to innovate concrete block production.

By replacing traditional Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) with RGC, we achieved an impressive 68% reduction in carbon emissions, supporting sustainability certifications such as LEED and BREEAM.

The trial produced standard concrete blocks with an average strength of 8.87N after just three days, meeting industry standards in both weight and performance.

This collaboration highlights our commitment to pioneering sustainable solutions in the construction industry.
