Had a call from a customer who had lost all keys to a Ford Fiesta. As there are no keys the door lock had to be picked open and the lock decoded so new keys could be cut to operate both the door and ignition.
Once the keys are cut we have to program the car to the new transponder chips within the key in order to start the engine. Then also program the remotes so the doors and boot can be opened.
We also have a choice of remotes that will suit many different vehicles.

Now it’s starting to get colder are you feeling some draught coming through the sides of your windows. People often tell me that the seals around their windows are faulty but often it’s not the case, the problem is the hinge.
Over the years of use, the hinges become worn and will not line up tightly which then causes small gaps between the frame and the sash, causing draught.
If your windows look like the first picture then we can help by renewing the hinge and keeping as much of that expensive heat inside your property.

Does your van have a Mul-T-Lock slam lock fitted. We recently had a customer visit us in a bit of a panic because he had snapped his key for the slam lock fitted to his van and could not get to his tools.
We managed to decode the very worn key and cut him a new one

Big thank you to Glamorgan Classic Car Club for asking us to supply the Trophies for their classic car show at Llancaiach Fawr Manor, Nelson.
The show takes place on Sunday 8th July 2017, and with all this fabulous Weather, it promises to be a brilliant day out.
