We're Hiring | Commercial Project Manager – South East England

We're continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to strengthen our team in South East England.

This is an exciting opportunity to join PUDLO, a business with over 150 years of waterproofing heritage, and part of the Oscrete and Christeyns Group.

Working alongside our experienced CSSW technical team, you'll support projects from specification through to completion, helping clients deliver successful structural waterproofing solutions across the region.

We're looking for someone who:
✔ Is passionate about the construction industry
✔ Holds a CSSW qualification (or is working towards one)
✔ Has experience in structural waterproofing
✔ Enjoys building strong relationships and providing technical support
✔ Is looking to make a real impact within a growing, technically focused business

🏅 Better late than never…

Back in May, Steve Herring flew the flag for PUDLO in the Walk in May Challenge, organised by Christeyns.

And he certainly didn't do things by halves…

Steve clocked up an incredible 300+ miles during the month – walking further than anyone else taking part in the challenge! 👏

We finally caught up with him in the office this week to present him with his very well-deserved medal.

He walked into the office… and made sure he walked out with his medal! 🏅😂

A brilliant achievement – well done, Steve! 👏

What a tournament it’s been!

A huge congratulations to Simon from Linfit Developments and Rory from TSM, who both drew Spain and are our 2026 PUDLO World Cup Sweepstake winners!🏆

The response to this year's competition was fantastic, so to give everyone the chance to take part we introduced multiple team draws – which meant we ended up with two lucky winners when Spain lifted the trophy.

Another important milestone for PUDLO.

We're pleased to have successfully achieved CQMS Bronze Accreditation together with CQMS Enhanced Designer Certification for our design support services.

While accreditations don't define the quality of our work, they do provide independent verification of the systems, competence and processes that sit behind everything we do.

For our customers, it offers additional confidence that they're working with a business committed to quality, compliance and continual improvement—supporting waterproofing and gas protection designs in accordance with recognised British Standards.

One year on...

A year ago, PUDLO became part of the Oscrete and Christeyns family.

Twelve months on, our Managing Director, Gary Laird, reflects on a year defined by collaboration, integration and building strong foundations for the future.

It's a heatwave. And somewhere in the UK, a concrete pour is scheduled for this week.

We posted about hot weather concreting a few weeks ago — and given this week's forecast, it feels worth saying again.

High temperatures accelerate hydration. That sounds helpful. In practice, it means reduced workability, increased risk of plastic shrinkage cracking, and long-term durability issues you won't see until it's too late.

For below-ground waterproof concrete structures, the margin for error is even smaller.
