New stockist in the Greater Glasgow area! 👀

There's great news for customers across central Scotland looking for render systems and exterior finish products. Fassa Bortolo products are now available from Scotcast in Coatbridge, east of Glasgow.

Scotcast is a well-established landscape and roughcast centre, supplying products for building, landscaping and exterior projects, from sands and aggregates to dry dashing, roughcast chips, renders, paving, walling and more.

Are you an architect, specifier or contractor working on sustainable building projects?

We’d love you to join us for a free online CPD seminar on modern lime render systems as part of DCE CPD’s sustainability day on Tuesday 23 June 2026.

At 2pm, Fassa Bortolo National CPD Specialist Daniel Baxter will be presenting a practical CPD seminar designed to help you specify lime render systems with greater confidence. The session will explore how lime render performs, where it can be used, and how modern factory-produced lime render systems compare with traditional site-prepared mixes.

By the end of the seminar, you’ll:
- Understand how lime render can support more sustainable construction.
- Feel more confident making decisions around substrates finishes and system choice.
- Know exactly what to consider when specifying for breathability, permeability and long-term performance.

Our new training academy opened in Dublin yesterday and the first Approved Applicator training day today is fully booked! 🎉

It's a brilliant start for the new academy, which we've opened in partnership with the team at Tennants Building Products.

Today’s session is giving local applicators a mix of technical guidance, live demonstrations and hands-on product experience with Fassa systems.

Completely free of charge, our training sessions are designed to help attendees build confidence and take practical knowledge back to site, covering everything from preparation and product selection through to application techniques, detailing and common on-site challenges.

Here’s to the first of many successful training dates to come in Dublin! We’re excited to support more applicators as they complete the training and build a strong network of Fassa Bortolo Approved Applicators across Ireland. 🇮🇪

Our free Fassa Approved Applicator training days are designed for applicators and contractors who want sharper skills, stronger product knowledge and more confidence delivering reliable results.

Hosted at our UK head office in Tewkesbury (GL20 8TD), each one-day training runs from 9.30am to 2.30pm, with a complimentary lunch included.

You’ll receive expert guidance from the Fassa team, learn practical do’s and don’ts, get hands-on with the products and finish the day with Approved Applicator status.

If you work with timber frame construction and want more confidence specifying or installing render systems, this free CPD session is for you.

Our National CPD specialist, Daniel Baxter, is hosting a 45-minute live webinar on Wednesday 10th June 2026 as part of DCE CPD’s ‘Roofing Problems and Solutions’ training day.

Created for architects, specifiers and builders, the CPD session will walk through modern render systems for timber frame buildings, including the components, detailing and installation methods needed to support a durable, stable and high-quality finish.

We’ll cover drained and vented cavity systems, timber battens, render carrier boards, multi-layer system build-ups, best-practice installation techniques and the importance of certification.

We’re opening our first training academy in Ireland, in partnership with Tennants Building Products, and everyone’s invited to the launch day!

With more than 300 years of history, Fassa Bortolo is one of Italy’s most established names in render and building materials. Now, we’re bringing that technical expertise, product knowledge and practical training support to Dublin.

Join us on Tuesday 9 June, from 10am to 5pm at Unit 72, Cookstown Industrial Estate, Dublin 24.

Our technical and commercial teams will be there throughout the day to answer questions, talk through our systems and welcome you to the new academy.

If you’re heading to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this week, make sure you look out for Oaktree Garden Centre & Nursery from Berkshire… and see if you can spot a little Fassa Bortolo featured in their design.

The show is open to the public today and tomorrow, Thursday 21 and Friday 22 May, from 8am to 8pm. You’ll find Oaktree at Tradestand Site WA187, showcasing premium outdoor living products. Designed by the talented team at Surelay UK, the stand took over a week to build and landscape ready for Tuesday’s opening day to RHS members. We’re really proud to see Fassa Bortolo’s Fassacouche Lutèce used as part of the design, expertly applied by Jamie Woodley at Total Rend UK.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been running since 1913 and remains one of the most prestigious events in the gardening calendar. Well done to Oaktree Garden Centre & Nursery, Surelay UK, Total Rend UK and everyone involved.
