🔴 In 2023 we did something new for British wheelbarrow manufacturing.

The launch of our Phoenix and Ranger marked the first HDPE wheelbarrows manufactured here in the UK.

Both use a 5mm HDPE pan and heavy duty frames, giving tradespeople another option alongside the steel and polypropylene wheelbarrows we've been manufacturing for years.

A different material, a new part of the range, but still designed and manufactured right here in the West Midlands. 🇬🇧

They're shifting soil in gardens, mucking out stables, working around farms, helping landscapers and, of course, getting plenty of abuse on site too. 😂

That's why the Walsall range isn't built around one type of job. We've got different sizes, materials and styles depending on what you actually need your wheelbarrow to do.

That's the production capacity we've built up at our West Midlands factory, helping us keep up with demand and supply builders' merchants across the UK.

It's taken years of investment in our people, machinery and manufacturing processes to get to this point, but the goal has always stayed pretty simple: manufacture quality wheelbarrows in Britain and make sure our customers can get the stock they need.

Not bad for something that started with a wheelbarrow being made by hand all those years ago. 🇬🇧

🔴 Another new addition to the factory.

Our brand-new fully automated tube bending machine from Unison is here, and will soon be getting to work as part of our wheelbarrow production.

It's the latest investment we've made in our manufacturing here in the West Midlands, adding another piece of modern machinery to the factory and helping us continue to improve how we produce our wheelbarrows.

It's great to see another piece of that investment arriving through the doors.

More British manufacturing, more investment, and plenty more to come. 🇬🇧

🔴 We don't just manufacture the wheelbarrows, we deliver them too.

We are the only wheelbarrow supplier to operate their own transport fleet, giving us greater control over getting stock out to builders' merchants across the country.

For our customers, that means we're not relying entirely on third party hauliers to get product where it needs to be.

It's another part of the business we've invested in over the years to keep things moving and give our merchant customers the service they need. 🚛

☀️ With over 665 solar panels installed on the roof of our factory, we're generating up to 352kW of clean, renewable energy as part of our journey towards Net Zero by 2030.
