Our workshop is a space where creativity has no limits. Our students with learning difficulties got stuck in with this upcycle, proving that with a little imagination (and some very cool red shoes), anything is possible.

From Forgotten to First Class!

Take a look at this stunning transformation by the talented team at The Wooden Butterfly. This wasn’t just a simple paint job—it was a journey!

At our workshop, we believe everything deserves a second chance. We upcycle old furniture, create new pieces from scratch, and—most importantly—we do it all alongside our amazing students with learning difficulties. Every handle, every stencil, and every sanded edge represents new skills learned and confidence gained.

This "Vintage Travel" dresser is a testament to what happens when creativity meets community.

At The Wooden Butterfly, we love the smell of fresh sawdust and new builds, but there is something incredibly special about upcycling. This vintage storage chest came to us looking a bit tired and forgotten (check out that "before" photo! ). But with a little imagination and a lot of hard work, our amazing students with learning difficulties helped breathe new life into it.

Level Up! Check out this incredible custom NES controller coffee table, handmade right here at The Wooden Butterfly.

This wasn’t just a woodworking project; it was a team effort! Our amazing students with learning difficulties worked hard to build this from scratch—from the iconic D-pad to the hidden Mario-themed drawers.

We are so proud of the skill, patience, and creativity shown by everyone involved. It’s more than just furniture; it’s a masterpiece of inclusion and hard work.
