This is not a ceramic piece , neither a pipe , nor a cilinder. In 20 minutes a 9.5 litre piece can be built with robotization..

Today is today, tomorrow was also today.

Is this good ? Is this bad ? No artisan was involved in the process and it’s circumference is beyond “precise“..

We can then address the paradigm… will the tool will surpass the make?. What if we end up with all identical creations ? Only classified of course, to allow the un artificial intelligence to code them up.

I have lived to see the plutarchy mutate to hypnocracy. Please not , you are not technology…..

Dark studio times / Feb 2025

there is some sort of scent that arises when the light starts to fade and the sculptor is left with no eyes,
like the last Borges ( the one we see in mages …

((Have you ever seen a photograph of a young non blinded Borges ? I bet you haven’t ))

like Oedipus at the end of the tale , like Tiresias my next door neighbor...

And this scent is the one that keeps me going, in this nothingness , in this sea of Sísifo, in this nail after nail, word after letter, water after dust.

Oh yes you tell me !! The same old scene !!

What is art ? Or better what is not art ? Or worse what is that is art which makes the not art not art ?

You critics have gone silent , you writers have gone mad .

The dark studio times will open up, to this virgen land
of existance, with no AI , with no fast art… like the red army welders, fixing the boat in flames all through the night.

Ayer con el grande “Yuyo” Felipe Noe en donde estoy presentando una de mis máquinas / Lo primero que me dice es que conocía a Vicente Huidobro en los 40’s y que un primo de Vicente retrató a su Mamá / también me dice “ che agarraste todas cosas viejas e hiciste funcionar esto 😂😱” /

Yesterday with living legend Luis Felipe Noe, great artist from Argentina which I enjoyed in 2009 at the Venice Biennale. At the back one of my machines from 2017 that I will start experimenting with at the gallery from this coming Thursday till June.

Will be posting results 💥🍼🥁⚗️
