Across four beautifully considered projects, Cosentino surfaces are doing exceptional work in every corner of the home. Climate action isn’t a campaign. It’s a spade, a sapling and a downpour that couldn’t stop us.

Colleagues from across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland came together with to plant trees as part of Cosentino Forest. The rain never let up, and nobody wanted to leave.

On International Day of Climate Action, here’s the bigger picture. Planting trees is one part of a wider commitment, and it runs through how we work every day:

🌱 99% of the water used to make our surfaces is recycled, with zero dumping
⚡ Our production runs on 100% renewable electricity
☀️ Around 28,000 solar panels generating clean energy at our manufacturing site
♻️ Recycled raw materials built into Silestone and Dekton

How cosy can a room be when the ceiling is this high?

Very, it turns out. Layered arches in Dekton Bromo, Laurent, Sabbia and Rem climb the wall in a mix of deep charcoal and soft, veined white, and the fireplace sits right at the heart of it. Dekton is built to handle the heat, so the design never has to hold back.

Two days until the clocks go back, and the evenings are officially fireside season. A room like this makes a strong case for spending every one of them at home.

That moment you walk in from the cold and the whole room feels like a hug.

The clocks go back this Sunday, which means darker evenings, but also an extra hour in bed and every excuse to get cosy. C·Top Design presents Robert Glynn , founder and lead designer of Studio 31, a Dublin-based interior design studio creating luxury, considered interiors from concept to completion.

With over 12 years of industry experience, including seven years as Director at Habu Interior Design, Robert founded Studio 31 in 2024, bringing a wealth of expertise and an exacting eye for detail to every project he takes on. Working across new builds, full renovations, and bespoke self-builds throughout Dublin and beyond, his work is defined by a design-led approach that balances elegance, functionality, and a deep understanding of how people live. A current finalist at the SBID International Design Awards 2026, the studio is fast becoming one of Ireland’s most exciting practices to watch.

Two very different projects, one shared commitment to surface excellence. In the Blackbarn self-build in North County Dublin, Scalea Belvedere clads the kitchen island in a dramatic, high-gloss dark marble finish, while Silestone Siberian brings a clean, luminous calm to the countertops and splashback. In the Rathgar renovation in South Dublin, Silestone Et. Marquina makes a powerful statement on a floor-to-ceiling kitchen island, its deep black ground and striking white veining the centrepiece of a beautifully curated open-plan space.

What if your sink disappeared into your worktop?

In this little kitchen, it nearly does. A Silestone Integrity sink in Lagoon sits flush with the surrounding worktop, with a drainer cut straight into the stone, and the same soft, veined Lagoon carries up the splashback and the tall panel beside it. Add brass k***s, a white tap and one very tiny porcelain unicorn, and you have a space full of quiet charm.

Small spaces reward simple decisions, and this one is a lovely example.

Every gathering ends up around the kitchen island. This one is ready for it.

Silestone Victorian Silver runs across the island top, the worktops and the high upstand, wrapping the room in soft, flowing veining that lifts the warmth of the oak cabinetry. Brown, green and gold shouldn’t work this well together. Somehow, they do.

The deep brown of Dekton Laurent, lit by golden veins, runs through this kitchen and plays beautifully against the warm timber hood, the green cabinetry and the soft glow of the pendant. It’s an autumn palette in its richest form, and it looks exquisite from every angle.
