Unexpectedly ended up in the local newspaper this week 😅
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Kilkenny Chamber President’s Dinner at the Newpark Hotel, we delighted Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence, Helen McEntee attended as Guest of Honour.
Over 75 local business representatives, elected officials and key stakeholders from across Kilkenny City and County were present for the event — the first President’s Dinner hosted by Chamber President Claire McInerney Brown.
In her address, Claire highlighted how trade, foreign affairs and regional enterprise development all play an important role in shaping Kilkenny’s future economy.
Sitting in that room felt surreal at times.
A few years ago, I was still in China researching modular housing concepts, improving technical solutions, visiting factories and studying how products could better adapt to European standards and lifestyles.
Today, we are slowly becoming part of local business conversations here in Ireland.
People often only see the visible moments —
a newspaper feature, a business event, a nomination.
But behind those moments are years of research, problem-solving, revisions, uncertainty and persistence.
Very grateful for the trust from partners, clients, friends and family over the past few weeks.
And more importantly —
our next sample cabins will soon begin appearing across Ireland as well 🌿
Step by step, things are becoming real.
