Step inside and you’ll spot Cloháne magic in every detail. Handcrafted finishes, heritage-inspired touches, and a space designed to be savoured.

Set within a protected building, this award-winning cocktail bar was shaped around the character of the space, including the original preserved back bar. Named Ireland’s Bar of the Year 2024, Paladar is a standout destination for cocktails, shared plates, and time well spent with friends.

Cloháne delivered the project as main contractors alongside a long-standing architectural partner, carefully bringing new life to the building while respecting its story.

From reclaimed timber shutters to reused scaffolding planks and carefully selected spalted maple, every detail was chosen with purpose.

A timeless inframe kitchen designed to elevate everyday living.

This beautiful space pairs silk grey paintwork with solid white oak, softly finished with a hint of liming paste, and completed with antique brass hardware for a truly classic feel. Marble worktops add the perfect finishing touch, while the veneered oak carcasses and solid wood dovetailed drawers bring the same level of luxury to the inside as the outside.

We love creating pieces that do their job quietly but still make a statement.

This bespoke sliding door was designed to do more than simply divide a space. At 2000mm wide by 2500mm high, we constructed it with randomly spaced solid oak ribs so that, when closed, it reads as continuous vertical wall panelling. It blends seamlessly into the interior, but the level of thought and craftsmanship behind it is anything but simple.

Alongside it, we built a solid oak hallway seat to bring warmth and function to the space, with exposed finger-joint detailing on the corners for that honest, handcrafted finish we always appreciate.

The handle was supplied by the client, a sculptural piece by South African artist Carol Boyes, and it adds the perfect extra layer of character.

We love creating kitchens that feel as thoughtful as they are beautiful, and this one is full of character ✨

Painted beaded shaker cabinetry gives the space a timeless feel, while the contrasting oak island with seating adds warmth and creates a real focal point. We included an on-counter breakfast station for easy everyday living, glazed display wall cabinets for an elegant finishing touch, and built-in chopping boards and trays integrated into the cabinetry for that extra bespoke detail. Hidden storage in the seating area keeps everything working hard behind the scenes.

It is these considered details that make a kitchen feel truly special.
