PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!)
The purpose of this group is to share an appreciation for all the members of the grandeurs of Gujarat. A Non Political and No Nonsense group to learn and share knowledge and appreciation for the fascinating Grandeurs of Gujarat which we have come to love and appreciate over the years! The grandeurs include both natural and man-made heritage structures. So feel free to
share photographs, request for identification, literature and resources and MOST IMPORTANTLY perhaps, ask questions!!! The objectives have been outlined in the group intro and all members are advised to read it. The rules for this group are as follows and please go through them carefully before you start to post. Once you post, it shall be assumed you have agreed to adhere to these rules. PLEASE TAKE HEED!!!
*Before you read the rules, please remember, the language English and Gujarati, as we know and speak it is a must, for posting, commenting and replying to any and all discussions/ debates held on this forum. **RULES**
1. Ideally, we invite images of various aspects of heritage (both natural and man-made) found in Gujarat ONLY (if you don't know what that term means and are going to post pictures of Mumbai, then perhaps you need to spruce up your Geography skills!!) photographed by our members globally.
2. Every image should have, the Id. (if known), date taken and place taken, mentioned clearly in English Script. (Id refers to the Name of content in English, Common Name or Scientific Name (if any), date means date or Month & Year, Location means name of Sanctuary / National Park / Reserve Forest or name of City, Town or Village with name of District. We understand that experts and experienced hobbyists might want to keep a location private, especially if it is a rarely seen specimen. In such cases we request the district and State be mentioned.
3. Those seeking help in identification may please mention so clearly while posting.
4. DO NOT POST images that are not your own. Images 'borrowed' from other websites will be deleted.
5. Do not spam this group with any form of solicitation for social causes, for resorts, tours, hotels, guides, photographic gear etc. This is not a forum for activism or commerce.
6. Do remember we are secular and gender neutral. All members are expected to be courteous, even when we criticize or disagree. We believe, ignorance is not a crime.

8. Members are encouraged to initiate and participate in discussions on photography techniques, post processing, software and hardware, spot finders, habitats and their management, animal biology and ethology. This is a place to learn from others. Please share your experiences- good, bad and ugly. At the same time this is not a group about photographic prowess. A good image helps easier identification. That is all
9. Do not be bothered by image quality. Others will try to help you improve.
10. We do not ordinarily criticize policy here. This is not a place for POLITICAL ACTIVISM.
