Anti-Corrosive Pipe wrap Bitumen Tapes:
Description: The productis a hot applied bituminous tape for corrosion protection conforming to IS: 10221,Appendix B. Specially formulated corrosion resistant bitumen compound provides high softening point, high pe*******on and high resistance to ageing. The product comprises of high tensile strength thermo-fusible HMHDPE film on both the sides.2 mm pipe wrap tape is five layer without fiber glass inner core, whereas, 3 / 4 mm thick pipe wrap tape is seven layer tape with two inner cores; top core is of tough 45 gsm fiber glass and the bottomcore is of 15 micron high tensile strength HMHDPE. Application: Coating material for drinking water pipelines, firefighting pipelines, raw water pipelines inthermal plants etc. Applied on buried and immersed pipes, fittings and appurtenances to protect them from highcorrosive environment Specification: Available in 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm thickness with width of 250 mm, 500 mm and 1000 mm. Eachroll of 2 mm / 3 mm tape consists of 20 Mtr length, whereas each of roll of 4 mm tape consists of10 Mtr length.
