Artisan.Fashion is a social enterprise connecting Africa’s artisans to esteemed luxury brands all over the world.

We create and produce beautiful accessories of social significance with some of the most recognised luxury fashion houses such as; Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, sass & bide,Chan Luu and Karen Walker. We are the first African production company to successfully combine artisan creativity and production capability with a careful consideration for traceable social impact.

2016 marks our ninth

year of production in Kenya. Today, we engage over 1,000 African artisans to create, produce and deliver over 100,000 bags and accessories per year.

✨ We’re proud to have collaborated with the stylish Greek brand , a female-founded label rooted in sustainability, timeless style, and conscious craftsmanship.

For this partnership, our artisan communities in Kitui, Kenya, handcrafted a collection of sisal baskets – using 100% natural and biodegradable sisal fibers. 🌿

Sisal is not only durable and beautiful, but also kind to the planet — leaving no harmful residue behind.

Timeless design, ethical materials, and women supporting women across continents. 🌍💛

We’re so proud to share some of the beautiful bags we made for Vivienne Westwood SS25, featuring in their campaign 💫

Each crochet bag is a true labour of love: made with Organic Cotton from Tanzania, the production gave work to over 50 crocheters and took place in two different communities in Kenya - each bag taking a full week to complete.
They’re then finished with hand embroidery, celebrating craftsmanship at every stitch.

The cotton canvas bag are screen printed by hand by our talented in house team, finished with elegant silver Italian leather handles and embellished with the brand signature Orb, each and very single piece hand casted by one of our communities of Artisans in Nairobi.

This collection is a testament to our enduring partnership with Vivienne Westwood, who has supported countless artisans in Kenya over the years. We’re honoured to continue this journey together 💛🇰🇪

Introducing an exclusive new collection: a tribute to the world of .

Each collectible canvas tote bag is inspired by the cities that host Vivienne Westwood’s iconic flagship boutiques — from London to Tokyo, Paris to New York.
Manually screen printed at our factory in Kenya, every piece carries a story of craftsmanship and sustainability.
These canvas Totes are printed by hand, using Recycrom pigment powders, created by transforming textile fibers from used clothing and manufacturing waste into beautiful, vibrant dyes — giving new life to what once was.

Available now, exclusively at Vivienne Westwood boutiques.

Introducing the limited-edition Karl Lagerfeld x Amber Valletta Tote Bag — a celebration of conscious luxury and artisan craftsmanship.

Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind: the fabric is handwoven with organic, rain-fed cotton from Burkina Faso by , the button is adorned with a beaded charm crafted by woman artisans of the ‘s network in Gilgil, and the bag is brought to life by the artisans in our hub in Nairobi.

More than 70 artisans across Africa have poured their passion, skill, and creativity into this tote — making it a product crafted with purpose.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse that killed over 1,100 people in Bangladesh. At .fashion we want everyone to know and behind every product there is a story. We want to say thank you to the 36 women of Olonana Self-Help Group who we’ve been working with for over 8 years. They use their hands to create beautifully beaded panels, Pom-poms, bracelets and more for designers such as Vivienne Westwood Mimco Chan Luu UNITED ARROWS. 😀 Fashion Revolution , , ,

We’re hypnotised by the hands of an artisan. 🤚🏾Rangau Brass Designers created the signature arrow from moulds made from recycled sand and molasses. For the final touches the straps were hand stitched using a rather large needle! , , , , , @ Kitengela Nairobi
