(DDM) – In a surprising political turn, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has openly declared his support for Lieutenant A.M. Yerima and the Nigerian military, after a reported clash between the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and senior naval officers in Abuja.
According to DDM correspondennt Amaechi okoro, President Tinubu’s statement came on Wednesday following mounting public tension over Wike’s confrontation with naval personnel guarding a disputed area in the Federal Capital Territory.
In a firm message, Tinubu emphasized that the Nigerian Armed Forces remain the cornerstone of the nation’s stability and sovereignty.
