DAY 4 | FASTING & FAITH JOURNEY
This morning, as I was taking my children to school, we passed through a road under construction. Traffic was heavy. Movement was slow. Everyone felt the inconvenience.
But the Lord gently reminded me of something true: every inconvenience is often preparation for development.
Construction is never comfortable.
It disrupts routines.
It delays progress.
But it exists for one purpose—to make the way better.
What feels slow now
is often the groundwork for something smoother ahead. What feels frustrating
is often proof that improvement is underway.
Once the work is done,
the road will be wider.
The journey will be faster.
The way will be easier than before.
Fasting trains the heart to see this spiritually—
that God sometimes allows disruption,
not to harm us, but to prepare us for what’s next.
This journey is not about avoiding inconvenience, but trusting God in the middle of it.
“God often develops the road before He accelerates the journey.”
