Under the new Construction Products Regulation (EU) 2024/3110, non‑EU manufacturers must appoint a single authorised representative in the EU to act as their official contact point for authorities and ensure compliance of CE‑marked products.

‼️Big news for every construction product manufacturer who wants to sell in the EEA.‼️
The new Construction Products Regulation, Regulation (EU 2024/3110), has been published in the Official Journal and entered into force on 7 January 2025, with most obligations applying from 8 January 2026. This “new CPR” brings tougher sustainability rules, Digital Product Passports, stronger requirements for Declarations of Performance and Conformity, and tighter market surveillance.

For many companies, this means that CE marking will no longer be “just paperwork” – it will link your product to environmental data, carbon footprint information and traceability along the entire supply chain. At the same time, the old CPR 305/2011 will run in parallel for years, so manufacturers must understand exactly which products fall under the new regime and when.
